Exhibition: Design for Culture

Design for Culture will showcase the best European and regional design practices in the culture sector.

 

 

The exhibition will consist of visual identities, graphic materials, publications, and campaigns created for regional and European institutions for culture, festivals, concerts, and relevant project in culture.

The audience will get a chance to see the project of rebranding the French Ministry of Culture, design of the Museum of London, campaign for the Bavarian State Opera that was created in collaboration between the studio Bureau Borsche and the artist James Kerr, and more.

Apart from the European project, the audience will get to see examples of good design practice in the culture sector from the Western Balkan region, such as the series of posters for the Yugoslav Drama Theatre created by the Belgrade based designer Slavimir Stojanović, the Graphic Design Pavilion of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 57th Venice Biennale of Art designed by Nemanja Mićević, as well as good design practices of organisations of the independent cultural scene.

The authors of this exhibition include foreign guests such as And Atelier, Cartidge Levene, Daly & Lyon, Bureau Borsche, Atelier Dyakova, Pentagram, Todojunto, Julia Studio, Studio ES, Bueronardin, Graphéine, Sarah Boris and studio Practise with Sara De Bondt. Alongside them, authors from the region will showcase their work, including Metaklinika, Slavimir Stojanović Futro, Srđa Dragović, Marina Milanović, Isidora Nikolić, Mane Radmanović, Nemanje Mićević, Dragana Krtinić and many more.
