“Design for Culture” in Trebinje

After the first and successful presentation within the Design Pavilion a year ago in Novi Sad, the “Design for Culture” exhibition is ready to unfold and reveal the best European and regional design practices in other city. This autumn, the exhibition will be welcomed by the Cultural Center of Trebinje from December 9 to 23.


The exhibition consists of over 200 posters, publications and other graphic materials produced for regional and European cultural institutions, organisations, festivals, exhibitions and relevant projects.

“Design for Culture” includes works by some of the most significant representatives of the regional, European and world design scene, including the world’s largest independent design studio Pentagram, German graphic design studio Bureau Mirko Borsche, French design studio Graphéine, Portuguese studio And Atelier, British studio Cartidge Levene, Spanish studio Todojunto, Austrian studio Studio ES, as well as representatives of the regional design scene such as Srđa Dragović, Mane Radmanović, Slavimir Stojanović Futro, Nemanja Mićević, design studios Metaklinika and Peter Gregson and many others.

Design projects implemented for the French Ministry of Culture, British Tate Modern, Bavarian State Opera, London Museum of Design, British Institute of Contemporary Art, Vienna Design Week, Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska, History Museum in Sarajevo, The Yugoslav Drama Theatre, the National Museum of Montenegro and many other organisations operating in the cultural sector will be showcased.

This exhibition is an initiative to encourage and inspire new approaches to design in the cultural sector. Therefore, whether you are a designer, curator or any other cultural professional, we invite you to be part of the exhibition to explore more about European and regional design practices.
